2007 Nobel Prize for Literature - Who will win?
Submitted by damian on Mon, 2007-10-01 08:51.The Nobel Prize for Literature is due to be announced some time in October, probably on the 11th. My money is on Philip Roth to win, as it has been for a number of years. If not him, then perhaps Harry Mulisch. There are plenty of other valid nominees, but my heart would prefer one of those.
Some thoughts from around the internet:
The Local - Swedish newspaper (in English)
Croaking Marley - blog of Marlon James.
Words Without Borders - An 'office pool' for people to guess.
Reuters UK
Brave New World - Blog post
Yahoo
Bloomberg.com
I'll add more links as I find them. I expect opinion pieces in newspapers and blogs will start appearing all over the place within the week.
use the forum and discuss you who think will win.

Submitted by damian on Mon, 2007-10-01 08:34.I have decided to add forums. Mostly for the next post, but also for reviews and so forth. I plan to add a forum for all of the new reviews as they are added, but I can also add them for older reviews if anyone is interested.
You will need to create a user account, which can now be done. Feel free to add suggestions.
Enjoy, post. Or not.
